Education Resources for Schools

The Big Anchor Project is interested in developing materials for use within the UK schools national curriculum, especially at Key Stages 1 (5-7 years) and Key Stage 2 (7-11years).

Anchors can be interesting and worthy of study from an historical and geographical perspective, and the surveying of anchors can be worthwhile as a mathematical exercise.

Finally the downloading and uploading of the records taken can be linked into Information Technology.

If you would be interested in working on the Big Anchor Project with your school please contact the project at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
